New Year's Resolutions are BS. Start NOW!

Why delaying the time you step outside your comfort zone is costing you progress

One of the things i’ve learned from anything that I ever wanted to start was that starting is the easiest and also the hardest part. Often times, we’re scared of the unknown. It’s a natural instinct.

Human species are creatures of habit. When the habit is created, we become comfotable, and becoming comfortable is rather easy. The most difficult are usually the first few days or weeks.

You don’t need to have everything figured out right from the start

There is a very small chance you will be succesful on your first try when starting something. Let’s use a business as an example.

Jeff Bezos’ Amazon started as a bookstore.

Lesson: START NOW AND ADAPT WITH TIME

Don’t keep delaying the start

We should not keep delaying the starting time. You’d be surprised how much progress you can do in as little time as 2 months.

I started my current business on September 19. I had 0 followers across all social media platforms.

At the time of writing this almost 2 months in, I have 512 followers across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. I’m hoping to reach a few thousand till the end of the year. If I kept delaying the start, i’d still have 0.

I learned some stuff on the way, improved my content and met new people because of this.

I remember starting on a Tuesday.

Don’t wait till January 1st to start your journey.
