Creating a Personal Brand and Why it's the Best Thing you could do for your Business

You have 0 followers and want to start making money through social media? I'll show you how it's done

In this article I will show you how to grow a personal brand from scratch on social media. Personal brand is the best thing you could currently start creating if you want to make money on the internet. It drives eye balls to your name, creates awaraness about your business, and builds trust. I will break down what I think is the best social media strategy on platforms I already have some expertise in.

So this is how you build a name for yourself from scratch:

Platform No. 1: INSTAGRAM

Instagram is an amazing way of building a brand for yourself. You have the option to grow through posts, reels and stories. You can schedule calls and get clients through DMs.

The best way to grow on Instagram in 2023 are reels. Short form content has made people’s attention spans even smaller and Instagram has been pushing reels a lot lately.

Focus on keeping your reels short. I think 5-8 seconds is the best lenght for your reel. Use an engaging hook. The first seconds of your reel are the most crucial. Focus on having a clear call to action in your caption. Use adequate hashtags within your niche. Post 3-6 times a week and you will grow your brand in just a few months. Don’t get discouraged when your first posts don’t do well.

Try to create content that’s sharable. That people either save or send to their friends. That’s what’s deciding if a post will go viral or not. SHARES

Same applies to the platform I will be talking about next…

Platform No. 2: TIKTOK

Tiktok has been going only uphill since it went mainstream in 2020. It used to be just a dancing app, but it’s so much more now. You can build your name up from scratch on TikTok just like you can do on Instagram. Use the same tactic as you would on Instagram.

The call to action may not be as important on TikTok as it is on Instagram.

But the lenght of the video and the hook are extremely important for both of them. If you don’t have 1000 followers on TikTok yet, you won’t be able to put a link in your bio.

I don’t recommend buying followers, i’d rather be patient.

Link your Instagram to your TikTok account and redirect your audience there.

Platform No. 3: Twitter/X

X is a different platform than Instagram and TikTok. People come on X to read, not to watch. That’s the biggest difference between X and the other two.

Your content won’t be pushed by default on X. You can’t just tweet in the void if you have 0 followers and expect to get interaction. You need to get attention and that’s best done by commenting on other people’s posts.

First step is: Use your face as a profile picture. It builds a deeper connection with the fanbase you’re building.

Follow a few people in your niche that have a few hundreds of followers already. Set notifications on their posts and make sure you’re one of the first to comment when they post. Focus on commenting something valuable. Something actually helpful. Do this for a few weeks. You’ll start getting a few followers eventually.

This is how I managed to grow my X account from 0 to 112 in only 28 days.

The funny thing is that I had only 48 followers after 24 days.

Trust me guys, the beginning is always the hardest, you need to push through though.

Try to reply to every comment you receive. This is how you build trust and authenticity. People might even reach out to you for business opportunities.

Don’t forget to have a nice profile with a clear call to action and an elegant header. You can try to replicate some already succesful creators.

Do these things and you’ll have a personal brand in just a few months. Good luck!
